Join Us In Support Of Our Planet
Our ecosystems are dying. Invasive plant species are taking over, and if quick action isn’t taken, we will lose these ecosystems — including the animals that thrive in them. We’ve seen what the damage from the 2021 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has done. The northern Gulf has suffered irreparable damage.
Plant Agent Collective is at the forefront of improving our dying ecosystems, leveraging developers, data scientists, experts in native plants, and community outreach to develop a database of native plant nurseries. We’ve made this information accessible to the public to make finding native plants easier for home gardeners and communities.
Why Are Native Plants So Important?
Native plants are not just important; they are indispensable in our fight for a healthier planet. Their preservation and restoration should be a cause close to everyone. These plants are the backbone of thriving ecosystems, providing sustenance and refuge for native wildlife while stabilizing our fragile environments. Native plants aren’t just eco-saviors. They are economic assets that contribute to local economies.
By supporting the use of native plants, we can nurture a coexistence with the natural world, strengthen our ecosystems, and pave the way for a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
